A time to pause and pray

Previously I touched about the siege in Russia which greatly disturbed me. Today I received a slideshow of the incident. While I slightly feel that slide which showed a hand grasping a cross may glorify Islam as a ghastly religion, I guess we should not blame them for having that perception towards us. I believe there is no justification in what they did there and today I woke up reading about the bombing in Jakarta. The front page showed a girl with her back badly injured. It was as if her back was torn out violently from her body. We as readers only view them and no matter how hard we try we can only imagine but never feel the pain. How can these people justify such action? I have no doubt about my religion Islam therefore no argument can convince me such action is justified. Islam does not teach us such dreadful things. If these men are doing it in the name Islam they should be ashamed, not only did they put every other Muslim in bad light they have managed to tarnish the image of Islam to others. Was there more to it than meets the eye? Was it purposely staged to disparage Islam? I just don’t know only Allah knows. A true Muslim would not have done this. I just wished every one else understands that ….
