Rain Rain Go Away

Monday oh my Monday. Just got back from a presentation in Seremban, yup quite far huh? Almost met with Ita my old café friend from college. Got some confusion there or else it would have been nice to meet her after quite sometime. The thing is her office is apparently on the same floor of the presentation room. Well hopefully I ll get to meet her again, if I am fortunate enough then today would have been a success. But my boss said I kept repeating the words “all right” aisey have to improve on that next time. Well hope springs eternal. Heheh…

Ok last time around I mentioned about my cikenet niece’s birthday. Unless you re not in Kl, you would have noticed the rain. Unfortunately for my sis the black clouds also came to visit her daughter’s birthday. For all her detail and elaborate planning theres nothing all of us could do about the weather. Hence why you see beside the cars being parked outside, umbrellas also required parking space. In spite of that the turn out was surprisingly good. The tents were packed and there weren’t many leftovers. Among the best food that day had to be the chocolate dipped strawberry and the birthday cake itself. Usually cakes are just good on the eyes but don’t taste too good. All I am saying is some of my gym effort had gone to waste because of it. That’s how good it was. If the weather wasn’t bad enough my sister went down because of food poisoning! Sigh I really pity her for all the effort she had put into (mind you she even took leave for two days to prepare for it) she didn’t manage to experience it. So the next time you plan for something make sure first and foremost, take care good of yourself.

And to put icing on the cake for my sister someone actually brought back a gift in a shape of a balloon home from the party. Alaaa the nice balloons with the cartoons on it. This one was a strawberry shortcake balloon which is extremely rare over here. In fact it was from the states. I was the one who saw this person bringing it back. Hahah I am not mentioning any names haaaahahaa. Well let’s give the benefit of the doubt to this person la ok? Maybe she thought it was part of the party pack. Hahah…. Sorry la Kak Long (luckily my niece is to innocent to mind ).

On a less sunny side of the weekend I just got to know that friend of mine failed in a relationship. Huurrmmm what to say. It was a pity if I might say so. I really like watching this couple together because the reason the girl was attracted to my friend was because he was smart. Smart he definitely is. Which is to me a rarity nowadays, a friend of mine even said some relationship can only work if they are compatible physically. Can you believe that? That’s a bunch of bullshit really. Well at least I am extremely fortunate to have someone who sees me beyond that. Thank you …
