Reality,TV and us...

Today is the birthday of my friend who is famous for the quote “May your days be better then mine” (I hope I got that right). Buddy if you re reading this I am sure better days are just around the corner for you. Its just taking its time to reach you. As we were yapping in the mail I just realized that there were quite a number of people that I know who were born in Octoberfest. Maybe the weather was cold at the time our parents processed us. Yucks cant believe I said that…..

Moving On!

Well today really didn’t fair that well actually but at least it was better then yesterday. Maybe of what I said yesterday; I practiced smiling for no apparent reason when I woke up. See somehow it helped. Well I hope it gets better by the day. Fasting is coming up in a few days time. Huuurrrmmm should I be ‘viceing up’ before fasting? Hahah that’s not the way la ok. Anyway, I m hoping that this fasting month I ll get to do 2 things. Save money and exercise. Ok la the beribadah part I ll try my best. Think about it fasting month fir us Malaysians at least is a time we eat more and spend more. Not to mention laze more. Imagine the non-Muslim who see us? They must think were using fasting as an excuse to be non-productive. So for this month I want to change that personally, change comes from within. Hahaha I hope my words reflects in my action. Well I would nt want Fitness First to cop a free fee from me at least. Dang I sound kiasu. So lets see how I fair in Ramadhan!

Ok its raining dogs and cats outside. I just hope I don’t miss The Apprentice tonight. That’s the latest reality tv show I’ll be following from now on since the Amazing Race is finished. I realized I m quite a tv guy as I follow programs such as the Shield, The Amazing Race,24 etc…But those 3 programs are my favorites. They kick ass. I like The Shield for its anti-hero theme plus there less fabrications in terms of reality. Amazing Race for its travel theme. Damn I wished I was lucky enough to travel the world like that. Maybe one day …So now is The Apprentice’s time. I hope today the girls lose so that we can see how they react. If the guys lose again then its gonna hard on them as they ll be short of hands. Mark Burnett the Reality Tv guru is quite a genius and a darn good business mind too. You see with Reality Shows the cost is cheap as you re using normal every day people in stead of real actors. So they are dirt cheap no additional costs to satisfy their diva like demands and such. Then again the show is a massive hit. People really are into Reality Tv. Reality, that’s the keyword I guess people are tired at watching fabricated reality. They like looking at real anguish real pain being suffered by people who are no different then you and me. The more pain and suffering experience by these reality stars the more the viewers like it. Come on don’t try to differ from that. I also believe that the producers will always try to keep the bitchy ones on the show. They may not win in the end but they will still be on the show for quite sometime. It ll be a big bonus for the producer is there is back stabbings. That ll really pull in the viewers. Funny how we marvel at the portrayal of such appalling human behavior. Me included heheh. So for the Apprentice my gut feeling tells me the Bitchy Bitch will remain in the show for at least a couple more episodes. There is only one bitchy bitch on the show at the moment. I wonder what it ll be like when she is the PM. To me the coolest dude on the show is the viceroy. The guy was cool when he said “Whoever gets this job is going to work a lot with me so I don’t want to deal with an idiot”… Hahahah I guess that’s how its like in the real corporate world.

Ok its 7 got to rush back and get ready …

Cheers….
