Nice Hair! Ekekekek ... Posted by Hello

Astro = Repeats + No service when it rains

I know a lot of people have pointed this shit out countless time. But fork it Im gonna still write about it cause ….that’s all we re able to do. See this is what happens when the consumer has no option. No choice.

See Astro is so synonymous with REPEATING programs right … Its becoming so bad that you can’t even know the stuff your watching is from 2002 or 2005. It happened to me recently; see I’m an avid CSI fan. No not Miami but the original. In case you don’t know I am the rightful owner of the gil.grissom@gmail.com add. Hehe…So when they started to broadcast CSI on Wednesday I just could not be bothered to watch it as I assume it was another rerun. Well there’s no surprise when you’re watching Astro? So when I was flipping through the channel I saw the CSI episode and noticed that I have never seen it before. It was only then did I realize I have missed the new CSI season. Luckily I only missed the first show as the one I saw was the second of the new one. I m not being cynical but Astro just forking do whatever they want and show 2002 programs when it’s actually 2005. So do not blame me for making such assumption. I am not shitting you guys k. Example: I noticed a show that look kinda new to me as I ve never seen it before on channel 13. The name of the show was Blister if I am not mistaken. It’s a game show that reviews the so called latest games on consoles such as the X-box, PS2 etc.. Yeah latest if you lived in 2002 that is…I shit you not man the game that they were reviewing was Dragon’s Lair…Do you know when did the game came out last year. They showcase the game during its development and that game took 2 years to complete. Come on man when you are talking about technology a year is like really old. Technology develops so rapidly that you just can’t afford to read on really old information. What do these guys in Astro take us man, do they think that we re that stupid …Another thing, they did was review a game convention…Yeah sounds cool huh? Again the convention was in 2002. Shit man do you realize that we Malaysians are so used to be given second hand stuff… Seriously man never be proud of the imported stuff we have .. The Starbucks, Marche, Ikea, Burger King, Kenneth Cole, Zara and all that shit. You don’t need to go far to realize this. Just compare all that stuff with Singapore and you will realize they already have it for a looong time. Way before we had it. I still remembered when I was in JB, whenever I went to Kl I will know the latest stuff way before the guys in Kl. Its not something I am proud of as I now live in Kl too. It just makes you realize that it sucks. I don’t know about you but I never for the life of me like it if I am treated secondary. If you are the kind of person who likes to brags about the Kenneth Cole you just bought at KLCC… Well don’t, cause those stuff are actually old designs. I know because when I went to Singapore they had the ones that we re similar to the ones in the Website. Ours are probably unwanted designs from Singapore. I don’t really like Singaporeans (nothing harmful though) but they do have the better stuff and shopping there is way better then in Kl. So it’s the same with the TV programs. We usually get old shite all the time. At least the ones on The AXN channel are quite new. What forks me up is that Astro should be giving us better stuff and not just shoves us with old stuff and making us feels secondary.

To those who live around Damansara area ... And tried to catch the Australian Open Mens final I pity you...For that fateful moment God gave us rain and took away Astro from you ....Hahahah ...

I tought that when it rained you are supposed to stay home and enjoy the telly ...
But not if you have Astro ...
For me when it rained ... Get out or get bored....

Well to be fair to them they are improving…A bit la …
But honestly I still feel they are getting away with being the one and only cable tv in Malaysia

The Best Mamak ….

What is with we Malaysians and Mamak. We just cant get enough of it. If the Westerners have their McDonalds then we Malaysians have our Mamaks. Maybe it’s the fast service, maybe it’s the open air environment and not forgetting the food of course. But I guess we being Malaysians like it more as you can order one teh tarik and sit there for hours. Me guilty of that too. Hahah but did you know that in Venice where sidewalk cafes are famous you will be charged for just having a seat? Even if you don’t order a single thing form the café, and if I am not mistaken different seats are priced differently. I guess they ll expect you to pay more if you sit at a good location.

Mohsin (Rating:4/5)

Yeah to me the best Mamak at the moment is Mohsin. Well I don’t know about you but based on the mamaks that I go to (ones that are near to my place) it’s the best so far. First of all the food is good and the service is prompt too. The foods that I enjoy most are the Nan and the Tandoori. They have an interesting selection of Nan bread such the Nan Mumtaj which is a Pizza like nan. Most importantly the texture of the bread is soft and not too hard. The tandoori is also well cooked as they are not too dry, often other places make the mistake of over cooking it till its way to dry. The reason I m telling this stuff is cause lately Im trying … yes trying to look after what I eat. While many think that Mamak food is unhealthy I do think there certain food that are in fact healthy. Nan and tandoori being some of em. So hopefully it does help me out there. Another interesting thing about Mohsin is that you can order fruits, such as Jambu Batu with asam boi. Interesting huh. Besides that the place is bright and parking is not that hard.

By the way notice the rating? Well its just something I thought of doing in case you guys want to consider the stuff that I write about ….

Interesting Fact

If you go to MSN’s search engine (crap engine) and search for GUYS SHITING IN GIRLS MOUTH and guess what…The first result is Stomping Ground…Don’t ask me how the MSN search engine comes out with that, for I definitely have never put such article I my blog….I shit you not cause one of my referral was from there…I guess they must have made some mistake cause when I tried to search using the string again it did nt return my page anymore…

Hahahah ….

Off Movies and Getting Ready

Huuurrrmmmm …..

Hah …

Wokeh its been quite an interesting week. Works getting better and I think things maybe picking up a bit. My mentor and someone who I look up to just got back here, well temporarily. So that’s good. With him you just can’t help but try to learn as much as possible from him. He s got tons of experience and he s someone you respect. So hopefully I ll get gain some valuable experience from him…

Wokeh…

National Treasure

We actually watched movie after sometime, can you believe it. Well the previous movie we watched was Oceans Twelve. Wait a sec that’s not too long ago..Anyway the Oceans Twelve experience was packaged with the normal morons who think they forking own the cinema. Idiots. Oceans was not bad but it wasn’t great. I was really looking forward to watching National Treasure cause after all its been sometime since a really good India Jones sort of movie was out. So we watched it and as we were about to catch the movie I noticed behind us was a family. I think there was 5 of em and 3 of em were kids. So I told my fiancée that we might be getting the usual package again. Well you know; talking, asking questions and what not. By the way this time around we decided to catch it at OU and usually we tend to be unlucky when we watch there so I was quite convince that we re gonna experience the same thing when the family was sitting behind. My instinct didn’t disappoint me, when at the start of the movie one of the daughter kept asking what movie that they re watching. It was like 5 or 6 times that she repeated the question. I shit you not. So things we re not looking good. Fortunately to my surprise after that they were the most well behaved cinema goers I have came across. They didn’t make any noise what so ever, no phones ringing no loud conversations and questions heard. It was really good, I wished I could come up to the dad and shook his hand and congratulate him for raising such well behaved cinema goers. I really wanted to. Cause I ve experienced way too many fork ups at the cinema that I feel I want to congratulate such cool people whenever I see them. Its becoming so bad that there are times that I told myself, if only we had bouncers in the cinema. Bouncers who would beat the crap out of the idiots we try to have their 30 seconds of fame/shame at the cinema. Top of the hit list are people who talk, ask stupid questions, people who let their phone ring, people who try to be cool in the cinema. The number one people who should get a really good beating are people who let their phone ring and actually answer them. Forking Forkers.

Getting Ready

Besides that, as you know I m getting married at the end of the year, so being a project coordinator by profession I just don’t want my own wedding to be a big mess. So from what I heard usually you need to plan the whole thing as early as a year before the date. So right now I’m about a month and a half behind schedule. Well no worries there, the reason I didn’t want to start on it was because we just moved in to the new house and there were tons of work to do. Especially for my parents. So I just thought that, lets resolve the house first before doing anything for the wedding. So now that’s nearly done we can do that, the first thing to do was decide the date then the venue. Huurrmmm so far seems ok. At first we didn’t know where to do it, either we do it at home or find a hall to do it. So we just went on looking for a hall and found one. Well my parents have been there before so we went there to check it out. Well the place was good. Personally I don’t mind where the wedding is held as long as my fiancée is happy, it does not burn a hole in my parents pocket and wherever its held I should be able to invite all the important people that I know.

Shoot I got to go…Dang its twice that I missed gym. I’ve gotta start going tomorrow….

Off to dinner …

Cheers…

Naïve Art

Yusof Gajah

Recently I went out with my mom looking for paintings for our house. We went to Plaza Ampang aka Yow Chuan aka Worth It Karaoke. Years back Yow Chuan is equivalent to Lot 10 but now the only thing that is worth mentioning about the place is the cheap Karaoke. Yeah you can’t beat a Karaoke where they let you bring in outside drinks and food. Ok anyway we went there to look for furniture and stuff (don’t ask me why) but as we were looking around I stumble upon a gallery called Gajah Gallery. Gajah as in Elephant ok, the reason for the name is because the artist’s name is Yusof Gajah. I’m no art experts so don’t ask me why he’s fascinated with Gajah but I got to hand it to him. I really really like his art work. His expertise lies in his ability to create these Naïve Arts. Im not trying to be an expert here but Naïve Art is artworks which are similar to a kids painting. So you see these really bright and colorful paintings. Yusuf Gajah’s painting is unique to me because of the way he plays with the color. It makes the artwork really interesting and cool. It takes a special talent to be able to mix color and make it appealing. According to guy we met, Malaysians seldom appreciate such art. Well not this Malaysian. If I had the dough I would love to get one of his paintings. The one that we saw cost around RM 3 500. Ok for some that maybe cheap. For me is not, well at least at the moment (I hope heheh). Hopefully when we get our own place I wanna get one of his paintings. I wish I could post his art work here but then again I can’t cause his site has a script running to prevent that. Even if I could I would not, out of respect for the artist. So if you wanna see his paintings go to http://www.yusofgajah.com/

Cool huh?

By the way we could nt afford his painting so we got one from his student Azmi. Also a Naïve Art painting and not bad at all.

Recipe for annoyance…

When your office implements a car park pay machines but there are only 3 of the machines.

This is another classic case which is ever so common for us Malaysians. A noble idea but the implementation is crap. Did nt the management think or plan the whole thing properly before they implemented it? FYI the place I m talking about it Plaza Dumbass. Seriously that’s the name of my office building. The location of the building is excellent. No issues there. The building is located in Sri Hartamas where it is in the middle of PJ and KL however, the management is crap. Not to mention the whole building is poorly constructed (it leaks whenever there is heavy rain) and the management are crap. Im a bit worried, they re gonna open a shopping mall which is connected to our office. The thing that I noticed is the parking. So we re gonna have to share the parking space. Soon the parking will be overcrowded, so for us who work here we re gonna have to scramble for parking space. Especially when you come back to the office during mid-day. Seems like I don’t think there is enough space for all of us. You see this place, Plaza Damas (actual name) consist of 3 types of building. Office spaces, Apartment and soon to open Shopping Complex. It looks like all of us are gonna have to share the parking where no lift is provided. Even if there is ample parking, Malaysians just simply love to park by the road side. Ok if the parking charges are too expansive like KLCC or KLIA it is understandable. But just take a look at the Mutiara Damansara area, Ikea in particular. The parking is around 1 to 3 dollars but still people don’t mind carrying some of the ikea furniture and stuff to their car that’s parked outside by the roadside. Another thing that baffles me is that some of the cars parked outside are not your average budget car-kancil and what not. Some are expansive continental cars and Japanese cars. Come on you can afford to pay the monthly loan for the car don’t you want to take good care of it. What if it gets dented? Is it worth it? Anyway back to my office. I just hopped that the parking wont be an issue and I hope people don’t start parking by the road side. If they do I can imagine the amount of traffic jam outside my office. I just don’t want a situation where going to the office is a bitch. Plus the same road leads to our soon to be apartment, so please god take the jam away.

Apart from that on a personal note. I noticed that when I m tired and hungry, I do get easily upset. Huuurrmm I guess got to work on that. Gotta make sure I got food with me all the time.

Ekekekek ….

Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Adha to all...
Peace Upon You...

Shameful…

PPS

Im part of the Petaling Street now! This is the good part of my posting the shameful part is after it.

Yup Petaling Street. Hahah not the ones selling fake designer wears and watch la but Project Petaling Street or PPS. PPS is one of the ways where Malaysian Blogger community can get together and tell the blog hoppers of your existence. So whenever I create a new post all I need to do is just Ping PPS, so whenever people go to the PPS site they will see excerpts of my blog and if they are interested they can click on the link to go to my blog. When you see the list of Malaysian bloggers who are part of PPS you will be surprised at the number of local bloggers around. So a little PPS 101 for you, in case there a mistake in my explanation sorry, Im new to this heheh …If you are interested go to http://www.petalingstreet.org/...

WTF ???!!! Again!

Yeah yeah ….

Seems like everyone is talking about the blackout. It was interesting how I got to know about it. First, I got 2 sms about it. One was from my fiancée and another from a friend of mine. The latter seldom text me so out of curiosity I checked his message first, sorry oh fiancée of mine. Heheh, anyway, quite shockingly his message said that the power outage is actually a strategic move by people who are trying to attack Malaysia (come on I know some of you received such message, right?). WTF??!! What power outage? My office was doing fine, ironically though.(I ll get to that in my next posting) . Next, I read my fiancée’s message. Again, I was shocked because she asked me if my office had any electricity? Once more….What power outage. Lastly I returned my boss’s phone call and surprisingly AGAIN he was asking about the power outage. Shoot what was this about? So I made a few phone calls and finally got to know that the Southern grid was down. Even up to Johore. One thing that I’d like to point out here is that, the fastest info I got about the blackout was from the internet of course. And not surprisingly the Blogs were a major source especially PPS. You can see a host of Blogs tagging the PPS and almost all were talking about the blackout. Among the notable sites who were up to date were The Star, Bernama and Reuter. Other news agencies were basically crap.

TNB???!!!WTF??!!

What’s that TNB??? HAH! TNB was so bad that even their website was down. You would have thought being the Malaysia’s premier and only power supplier; they would have been sharp enough to utilize the net in order to inform people of what happened…Well I guess unsurprisingly either they didn’t know what the root of the problem is or they could not give a fork about it. After all being the sole numero uno in Malaysia WTF do you care right?....Seriously these Blackouts are getting really embarrassing. Seriously the sms I got really affected me. Imagine if that were to happen, not surprisingly if a moron were to attack Malaysia they would think hey lets hit the most easiest and the most critical part of the country. Yeah the power supply. After all the country does not seem to have a back up power supply. Cause its happened thrice already. Well according to a reliable source TNB has a back up system but they basically don’t maintain it and don’t frigging test it (No surprises there). That’s what happened during the nation wide blackout a few years back. So I don’t think they actually did anything about it. According to my ever reliable source power supplies should be running at a 50% capacity, however in our country especially in industrial areas we are running at around 80 %– 90%. So whenever an outage occurs other places are affected too.

Malaysia? Development? No Way!

Why it is always an embarrassment whenever a national level blackout occurs. Ok here a useful tip for you. One of the easiest way to measure a country’s development is by evaluating the basic things in the country. Water and Electricity being among it and for both of em we Malaysia have problems. Did you know that national level Blackouts only happens to 3rd world countries? Yeah that’s right. For all the Twin Towers we have, MSC, Putrajaya, Cyberjaya means nothing if the 2 basic elements in life are not well manage by our country. Imagine if you are looking to outsource and set up a manufacturing plant overseas, honestly if it was me I would not go to Malaysia. Outages are costly. The blackouts are actually a reflection of our development and management of the country. So yes all of us should be ashamed that it happened. No once not twice but Thrice….

Blogged Back!

Ok I ve not been blogging for awhile as some of you might be aware of. Well at lot has gone through my mind and it requires deep thoughts so its not that easy. Where you future is taken into account I feel its something that you need to seriously consider. Anyway enough of that, things just got a bit better at least the thing has eased my burdened a bit. So hopefully things would turn for the better.

WTF?!?!

Posted by Hello

Football Sucks No No Malaysia that is ....

When it rains it pours, fork it. Did you like I, and 100 000 other Malaysian got duped by the national soccer team? Well I was half duped as I have to be honest, a bit of optimism and hope did crept into me. After all they did win in Indonesiawhere the last victory was way back when Weigang was the coach. I think that was in the late 70’s or early 80’s. As usual yes read that USUAL they manage to disappoint us. My fever proofed to be a blessing if it hadn’t been for it I would be among the unfortunate thousands who got BS by their so called Tigers at the stadium. To think I made plans to go there. Fork! I was quite pissed off, no no not quite but bloody pissed of really, that I really wanted to contact Shebby Singh and request to be on the show so that I can do abit of stomping ground on his show. I just felt like wanting to voice out one of many Malaysian voice, who are so upset with the whole fracas created by the soccer team. What the Malaysian football fraternity should hear is the fans voice, I think we have been duped one too many times. The wankers who are responsible for Malaysian football should listen and hear what we, the Malaysian people really think about the current state of the game. The national team the league its all BS. Just because soccer is the number one game in the world, we still keep pumping money to the national side. F U ok. Why don’t you just use all that money and send it to the Tsunami victims, it ll be worth it. Back to Shebby, ok man check out his picture. YYYEERGGHHH good thing you no longer need to be in shorts caused the turf on your legs can sure use some mowing. By the way, before any of you think I m some queer faggot (sorry my queer friends) I accidentally found his picture while Googling for his contact. Yes damn it that’s how serious I am at contacting Shebby, I actually Googled around to find his email or phone number. So far I ve been unlucky. But if any of you know about his contact let me know. I ll contact him and if I do get to be on his show those undeserving Malaysian Footballers are gonna kena from me. The first thing that I want to let them know is I don’t mind if they lose. Honest to God. I don’t mind. But lose it after you have given your all, your blood, sweat and effort. Then, even if you lose I seriously believe the Malaysian public will forgive you. Not like what happened, when the ball is headed in the air the entire Malaysian team will just watch and wait for the ball to bounce, where else the Indon will chase every damn ball and even kick those in their way in order to get it. Make no mistake credit where it is due, Indonesia truly deserved to win. The next thing that I want to bring up on the show is the players salary. I just want to frigging know how much that lazy bum Khalid Jamlus earns per-month. I think a lot of us would be darn surprise. The thing that pisses of a lot of people is that these wankers earn good money but play like morons. Some people struggle for 4 to5 years at uni and another 2 or 3 years at work, still they might not earn as much as these footballers. There is no sour grapes here, if you earn it then by all means its your rezeki. I dont mind but at least deserve it man. If it was true what these guys are earning then a salary cap should be introduce. the salary cap should also be based on the national team appearance, national team ranking and performance. Currently I dont think they should earn more then 3 grand a month. That should be their basic, then again maybe 2500 makes more sense. If they get to play for the national team then they should get good allowances, but to make this work the state allowance should never exceed the national teams allowance. Then these money chasing guys would want to play for the country. Ok that sucks but at least its more professional. Earn better pay if you play for your country. Then guys will really make an effort to improve and make it to the national squad. Then if Malaysia wins a tournament or move up the world ranking then the salary cap can be increased to maybe 3000. You get what Im sayin??!! On the bright side I think we were lucky to lose to Indonesia, cause it would be absoforkinglutely be painful to be in the final and lose to Singapore!

Why of why???

Then again I think there is one main reason why We (yes we you and I included) are so crap at competing is because we are so accustom to a certain level of comfort. Trust me Malaysian are a bunch of unpatriotic people if compared to others. Lets not go far as to compare; take Indonesia or Singapore for that matter. Indonesia has gone through a lot of hardship and their Bahasa Indonesia especially has helped them foster a strong patriotic feeling for their country. Which was evident in that match, they were willing to do almost everything possible to win that match. They must have felt that their pride was severely dented when they lost at fort Senayan. So they really wanted to taruh Malaysia over here. As for my favorite neighbor Singapore (yeah right) you must remember the entire republic is military trained. No matter if you are a wuss who couldn’t care less for your country, when you are forced to enter the National Service you re bound to develop a sense of national pride.

Which comes to us Malaysians what do we have? Are we willing to give our blood and guts to the country ? yes are you sure? Take a look around you. True, Malaysia is a darn good place to be in. Our country is peaceful and things are readily available; food, education, roads (that’s if you can take pot holes) and to a certain extent freedom. Before you say you have gone through it but yet you we re born in the 70s, please don’t gimme that BS. Those who are born during those years onward never had to experience harsh conditions unlike our elders. We’ve never really gone through hardship like others. Why did Malaysia kicked ass during old days? Well back then things we re not as easy as today. Footballers played because they love the game and also loved representing the country. They didn’t get huge paychecks, some were merely working as clerks, they didn’t need to be professionals but yet they acted as if they were. They didn’t have fancy cars they were footballers who played for the game and nothing else not because they want the glamour, the cars or the girls or shall I say nurse. Well I just hope somehow I do hope a miracle to happen. It ll be good to be able to go to the stadium for a change rather then watch football on the telly all the time

Interesting fact

Did any of you catch CSI Miami last night? Ok the interesting bit is not because of the CSI New York preview (anyway it looks interesting; well if it captures New York like Seven then it ll good trust me). Instead its cause the actor who played the bad guy; the Doorman was played by Steve Oedekerk. Ok if you are wondering who in gods name is Steve well let me tell you. Steve Oedekerk is actually the guy who played The Chosen one in Kung Pow. Yeah the story which had the Matrix effect and the kung fu scene with the cow. Hahah well quite sad eh all he got after that was just a bit part in CSI.

Another useful fact that could actually make you sound smart and interesting …

Kah Kah Kiok ….
